The latest Finn McCool's is located at 72 North Williams Street, in the notable downtown area of Crystal Lake, in the building known as the historic Home State Bank, erected in 1916. Not only will this establishment restore the building to its grandeur, it will also bring another reason to visit downtown Crystal Lake. In an effort to recreate an old-world feel, yet maintain the building's original charm, the decor of Finn McCool's brings together rich, dark woods, stained glass, a large fireplace and a collection of original Celtic artifacts peppered with vintage music and sports collectibles to create a fun and colorful montage throughout the pub.
This third installment of Finn McCool's will once again capture the spirit of Irish warmth and hospitality all while showcasing delicious and satisfying food for an incredible value, said Mark Hoffmann, who along with Fred Hoffmann owns and operates Finn McCool's as well as dozens of other restaurant concepts in Chicago and the suburbs, including another establishment in Crystal Lake. "It's great to bring another viable business to this thriving area."
Finn McCool's will feature a plethora of large, extra-bright flat screen TVs everywhere (even in the restrooms!) to provide maximum coverage of the day's sporting events. Tabletop speakers are available which can be tuned to each individual table's game of choice to hear the play-by-play. Patrons can also play sports and trivia video games on the NTN satellite network using cordless "playmaker" units to compete with players across North America in Buzztime Trivia and Texas Hold 'em.
There's something for everyone at the newest Finn McCool's in Crystal Lake!
