Why the name Buddyz you ask? How do you say it? The answers are both easy. The name came from partners who had been friends growing up in the Northwest suburbs. Buddyz is just that...BUDDYZ not Buddy Z's.
After opening four places under the name Pizza Italia, The Scarnato's, Joe and Tim, along with partner Frank Lara, opened up Buddyz in 2005.
With creating a upscale casual pizza restaurant with family and friends in mind, The Algonquin location found a niche in the local area. It included a nice casual dining area along with a
beautiful handcrafted bar highlighting the bar area.
